Twinkle Taupe is a medium, dusty, brown taupe eye shadow with a faint bronze sheen. The great thing is it can be applied lightly as a lid color, heavier for the outer corner and blended into the crease. It's also lovely to use for slight definition on the lower lash line. This is a wonderful color, and I really enjoy the "twinkle!" The only reason I gave it four stars is because I find it leans a little red, unlike a true taupe. So I use it differently than I would a neutral color. I find that I can use it with other "reds" and highlight a green. However, I don't use it with other neutrals. That's OK! Thank you, Red Apple, for making it possible for people like me (extremely allergic to most everything) to play with color and wear eye shadow with confidence.
