Wiggle wand from lash root to tip, followed by a couple swipes. Use the curved side of brush for longer lashes that you want to curl. Use the flat side of the brush for shorter lashes and small eyes. Build layers of mascara once the first dries slightly.

Yes, it was created using guidelines from many organizations that specialize in sensitive eyes and skin along with Credo Beauty's Clean Guidelines - and our own customer data surrounding their unique (and sometimes rare) allergens. However, even with all of this research and data there is a very small percentage of customers who are sensitive to specific ingredients and have a reaction (such as someone who is sensitive to Aloe, one of the rarest allergies). We recommend following our "Irritation Isolation" guidance when trying any product for the first few times. Basically, think of it like a patch test. If you have very sensitive eyes, try it first without anything else on your eyes - no eye creams, serums, primers or eyeshadow - just use it by itself for a couple hours and see what develops.

No, however it will withstand some sweating and humidity. True waterproof mascaras contain ingredients that make it difficult to remove gently and can often be irritating to sensitive eyes, so we avoid all of those.

This formula starts off wet, but then dries up to the perfect feel a couple weeks and stays that way until it's expired (6-9 months) or empty.

There are two ways long lashed beauties keep mascara from getting on their eyelid. #1 is using a physical barrier while applying, between your lashes and lids (like a small clean piece of paper). The other way is to hold a hand mirror at your chin, and look down as far as you can, while lifting your eyebrows. This extends your eyelids as far as possible, and keeps your lashes away from them. Going slow, and wiggling vs just swiping is also helpful.
