I gave it 5 stars because it is such a fun color of red and brown and not terribly dark, but too dark for me by itself. Not its fault, but my choice that was a shade too hot for me. Also, I am so sorry that the samples are disappearing, but I understand that it is in order to find a better technical solution for the sample containers, which I heartily support. I want to try Firesign some more but the peeling aspect of the sample container seems to always result with lipstick on my fingers as well as the little brushes. Best of luck on choosing a better sample solution. I love samples! So reasonable and saves time and money, and less wasted good lipsticks. All the best to RAL! Fabulous lasting color. My favorite shade by another brand was discontinued and I searched for months before finding Fire Sign. Most lipsticks either turn pink, look too faded or are too dark red on me. I have several other Red Apple shades, but this is my favorite hands down! I've tried the eye shadow too and have been pleased with its coverage and staying power. Anxious for the full size to return, as I have misplaced mine.

I'm a big fan of autumnal color and Firesign is a gorgeous orangey red: not too bright, not too neutrally muted. A Mary Poppins shade, if you will. I keep waiting for the full size to return for purchase. (fingers crossed)I've been collecting Red Apple Lipstick samples for a while now. I'm just on the warm side of neutral and everything turns pink on me. I need something with more yellow to offset the blue, and I have found it in Firesign. These colors are so very hard to find. When I discover one, it practically becomes an HG product.
