Fabulous lasting color. My favorite shade by another brand was discontinued and I searched for months before finding Fire Sign. Most lipsticks either turn pink, look too faded or are too dark red on me. I have several other Red Apple shades, but this is my favorite hands down! I've tried the eye shadow too and have been pleased with its coverage and staying power. Anxious for the full size to return, as I have misplaced mine.

I'm a big fan of autumnal color and Firesign is a gorgeous orangey red: not too bright, not too neutrally muted. A Mary Poppins shade, if you will. I keep waiting for the full size to return for purchase. (fingers crossed)I've been collecting Red Apple Lipstick samples for a while now. I'm just on the warm side of neutral and everything turns pink on me. I need something with more yellow to offset the blue, and I have found it in Firesign. These colors are so very hard to find. When I discover one, it practically becomes an HG product.

Red Apple Lipstick has the most helpful and complete website, product descriptions and photos I've encountered. Still, I initially dismissed Firesign as "too orange" and not my color based on a quick look and read. I am fair with neutral to cool undertones and a good amount of surface pinkness which comes and goes to some degree. Audrey has been my go-to favorite shade for years and I love it very much. But I thought it would be fun to have a signature red and perhaps a different pink to wear for a fresh experience. After playing with various shades, I've been surprised to find this fresh alternative pink in beautiful Flutter, and--while I have long sought to find a red that fits my coloring and aesthetic preferences--have unexpectedly discovered it in Firesign. What a clever shade and hidden surprise! In bright, natural light and heavily applied, it takes on a somewhat rustic orange cast, much like colors you'd find in Sedona. But a couple of coats applied in most other lighting scenarios reveals simply the warmth of autumnal leaves; the rustic red, copper brown and sunlit orange of nature at its warmest, coziest and most gorgeously burnished. My new favorite!
